When the bush says there is no greenhouse effect, this translates to mean that he is not ready to make american industries conform to the pollution standards needed to deal with the greenhouse effect. In other words, the oil companies and others can continue to make insanely high profits, despite the damage they are doing to people, animals and plants (damage that the taxpayers will eventually have to pay to fix . . . or at least attempt to). W does this because, despite their machavellian cries to the contrary, an amoral elite funds him and their concerns are the first to be addressed, to hell with the rest of us... and especially the animals; the way those nasty extinction rates keep rising ever so sadly upward, one would think the w had declared war on all other species...
Politicians words should always be examined for meanings other than the obvious ones that they are trying to make you believe.
Underneath our presidents' speeches, below the double-speak and plausible denial, are messages that translate into the words of a dictator; certainly stealing elections, torturing political enemies and pows, jailing without representation, and catering to an elite at the expense of the many, all seem like signs of a dictatorship . . .
We let him speak to the world with our name. We suck. THOU SHALT NOT STEAL THE WRITINGS OF JOHN SCOTT RIDGWAY... YOU CAN EASILY GET PERMISSION FOR A NON COMMERCIAL REPRINT BY CONTACTING MY EMAIL.
